Rev.Mary's Bio

Rev. Mary is an ordained Non-Denominational  and Inter-Faith  Minister and Chaplain.


She warmly accepts and encourages all denominations and officiates at many weddings in 
Colorado every year.  She enjoys creating a personalized and unique wedding ceremony with each bride and groom.  Many of her weddings take place in beautiful locations in Colorado’s extraordinary Rocky Mountains's chapels, romantic inns and historic hotels in Colorado.

She was ordained as a Non-Denominational Minister in 1990 in
Austin, Texas; studying contemporary theology and ancient spiritual traditions.  She was ordained as a chaplain in 2005. 

In 1998 she founded and as executive director, continues to direct, an international inter-faith non profit organization; the Global Peace Foundation, to assist destitute refugees and others of the global family.

Rev. Mary is also a Board Certified Crisis Chaplain with the American Academy of Experts in Traumatic Stress and the National Center for Crisis Management. She is trained in Pastoral Crisis Intervention. She was awarded an Accommodation of Appreciation from  Colorado Mental Health Community Reach Centers, for her work as an outreach specialist;  "In recognition of extraordinary achievement in the coordination of educational outreach regarding vicarious trauma on behalf of Colorado's 1st Responders to Hurricane Katrina".
 
She has been awarded t
he United States President's Call to Service Award; an Initiative of the President's Council on Service and Civic Participation, in conjunction with USA Freedom Corps, in recognition for life time achievement of over 4000 hours of volunteer work to assist communities and individuals at home and abroad.
